Finance Manager for Renewable Start-Up

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Finance Manager, who is eager to join our team to pursue and manage our finances and accounting, helping us to shape the future of our finances and accounting.


Who are we?

Hybrid Greentech inspires organisations to be green pioneers and invest in energy storage so we together can reach 100% renewable energy. We and our customers are in an emerging renewable market that will face 30-fold growth over the coming years.


Hybrid Greentech is a 3-year-old company entering the scale-up phase, developing an AI-driven software ecosystem for sizing and real-time optimisation of energy storage, and Power to X solutions in energy markets. We are a team of 10 people with strong domain knowledge in renewable energy, energy storage, machine learning, and AI who want to revolutionise energy storage, grid-scale battery systems, and Power to X flexibility in energy and power markets.


About the team

You’ll be working as a part of an experienced engineering team and PhDs in the energy sector developing a product across the world to accelerate deployment of energy storage to support the green energy transition.


About the role

You’ll be overall responsible for the Finance department where you will be handling all processes regarding accounting, administration and HR.

About you

You have a financial degree and have some years of similar experience. We are a small company but are rapidly growing so you need to be ready to take lot´s new business within the next years. You have all the skills from bookkeeping to group reporting as you are the sole member in the finance department from the beginning. You like to be part of a team as we consider the team as the foundation of the company.


The Finance Manager reports to the CEO at Hybrid Greentech whose main work location is Roskilde.



A great candidate will have some combination of the following qualities and experiences

  • General knowledge of the full accounting role

  • Experience in budgeting models

  • ERP system responsible, we use E-conomic but needs to implement a larger system in near future

  • Experience with group finance as we expand in multi companies

  • Public funding handling – mostly admin and hour accounting

  • HR, creating contracts, handling salaries

  • Inter-company transactions

  • Transfer pricing

  • Financial reporting to the board and business partners

  • Preparing monthly reporting

  • Preparing the Financial annual report for audit

  • Fluently English both oral and written


  • Experience with automated trading and billing systems

  • Know-how of digitisation
