As our new BESS Project Manager, you’ll join our EPCm team in an entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment, working closely with suppliers, partners, and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery and completion of our customers’ BESS sites.

Your new role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager for BESS Projects with deep expertise in energy storage systems to join our EPCm team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of BESS projects across all phases – from development and design through to construction and commissioning. You will serve as the central point of contact between developers, suppliers, consultants, and the client – ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full technical alignment with performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

How you will make a difference for Hybrid Greentech 

• Lead the technical project management of BESS projects from development through execution and commissioning

• Manage and execute tender processes for BESS projects, including technical documentation, evaluation, and contract support

• Coordinate and align with clients, suppliers, project managers, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective project execution

• Participate in stakeholder meetings to clarify technical requirements and ensure alignment across disciplines

• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards

• Develop and maintain project timelines, schedules, and work plans

• Support risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of internal processes

 

To succeed in this role you should have

• Hold a technical background such as engineer (electrical, mechanical, or energy systems), electrician, installer, or marine engineer

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management of technical or infrastructure projects

• Experience with medium-voltage (MV) and high-voltage (HV) systems is an advantage

• Prior exposure to BESS, renewable energy, or utility-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable

• Fluent in Danish and English (German proficiency is a plus)

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills

• Capable of working independently while thriving in a collaborative project team environment

• Proactive, structured, and committed approach to your work and colleagues

• Support in our continuous improvement of our processes and standards as internal Subject Matter Expert
