What is PortManX?

PortManX project develops a virtual power plant that can manage portfolios of electrical energy storage systems such as, electric car batteries, stationary Li-ion batteries, Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries, and electrolysis plants in Power to X systems as well as heat pump.

What is the innovation?

By creating a portfolio of energy storage systems, it is possible to contain x number of energy storage systems within an hour. In this way, the involvement in the electricity markets is increased as the total portfolio increases considerably and thereby the price is reduced sharply and in the long run, peak-load power plants outperform natural gas and diesel.
