Originator - Aggregated Flexibility

We are looking for an Originator to drive commercial growth within aggregated flexibility, focused on EV charge point operators, heat pump aggregators, utilities, and commercial & industrial (C&I) customers. 

About Hybrid Greentech 
Hybrid Greentech helps Battery Energy Storage Systems and flexible assets perform across their full lifecycle, from project readiness to real-time multi-market trading. We are a vertically integrated VPP, BRP and retailer. We combine analytics, EPC management, asset integration and automated trading to turn flexibility into reliable value for the grid and for asset owners. We are a diverse, international team of 30+ based in Høje Taastrup, building technology that makes 100% renewable energy workable in practice. 

 

This role scales real-world flexibility into something the grid can use. You’ll build commercial partnerships with EV charging networks, heat pump portfolios, utilities, and C&I customers—structuring offers that turn electrification assets into market access, grid services, and measurable value. 

 

The role 
We are looking for an Originator to drive commercial growth within aggregated flexibility, focused on EV charge point operators, heat pump aggregators, utilities, and commercial & industrial (C&I) customers. 

 

You will own the full origination cycle – from identifying opportunities to structuring, negotiating, and closing bilateral agreements—working closely with trading, risk, analytics, and portfolio management to align deals with strategy and risk appetite. 

 

What you will do 
 

  • Identify, originate, and structure bilateral energy supply and offtake agreements with EV charging networks, heat pump aggregators, utilities, and C&I customers. 

  • Develop tailored commercial offers combining wholesale market access, retail products, and flexibility services. 

  • Lead sales and contract negotiations from first contact through closing, ensuring commercial value and internal governance compliance. 

  • Drive partnerships and build strong relationships with industry partners, advisors, and counterparties across the electrification value chain. 

  • Scale and systematise B2B sales processes to support growth across multiple customer segments. 

  • Collaborate with trading, risk management, analytics, and portfolio management to align origination opportunities with market strategy and portfolio needs. 

 

What you bring 

Experience and skills 

 

  • 3–5 years of experience in energy trading, origination, or business development within power markets. 

  • Proven experience selling energy contracts and/or flexibility solutions to retail or B2B customers. 

  • Solid understanding of electricity markets, imbalance pricing, and demand-side flexibility. 

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to close complex commercial agreements. 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market signals into clear customer propositions and structured deals. 

 

Nice to have 

 

  • Strong understanding of demand response, flexibility markets, and VPP business models. 

  • Network across EV ecosystem players, utilities, energy retailers, DSOs/TSOs, and relevant advisors/partners. 

  • Language: English (required); Danish or another Nordic language (plus). 

  • Strategic communication skills—able to translate complex technical products into clear commercial propositions.
