Finance Manager
We are looking for a senior, disciplined, persistent and detail-oriented Finance Manager who combines analytical strength, commercial understanding and a proactive mindset to help professionalise and scale our business.
Hybrid Greentech helps Battery Energy Storage Systems and flexible assets perform across their full lifecycle, from project readiness to real-time multi-market trading. We are a vertically integrated VPP, BRP and retailer. We combine analytics, EPC management, asset integration and automated trading to turn flexibility into reliable value for the grid and for asset owners. We are a diverse, international team of 30+ based in Høje Taastrup, building technology that makes 100% renewable energy workable in practice.
We are now looking for a Finance Manager to play a central role in shaping the company’s financial future. This is a broad, high-impact position where you will combine operational finance, strategic finance, and transformation in a fast-paced energy scale-up.
The role will support us in turning finance into a scalable platform for growth and market expansion by professionalising core processes, implementing the right systems, and enabling faster, better decisions in a trading business.
The role
We are looking for a senior, disciplined, persistent and detail-oriented Finance Manager who combines analytical strength, commercial understanding and a proactive mindset to help professionalise and scale our business.
You will report to the CFO and act as a business partner, supporting decision-making with high financial impact.
What you will do
Own, manage and develop core financial processes, including:

Ensure accuracy, compliance and adequacy in accounting standards, financial reporting and cash flow management

Oversee day-to-day financial operations: accounts payables, invoicing and self-billing, monthly closings, accruals, reporting, payroll, Tax & VAT reporting, daily settlement and cash management

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Lead and enhance customer invoicing and self-billing process, order to cash

Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives

Establish, implement and further develop scalable core financial processes
Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in driving our transformation from start-up to scale-up by:

Leading the implementation of a new ERP system that integrates into the core system landscape, and scales growth and geographical expansion

Automate processes and workflows using tools like system integration, RPA and AI

Adapt account standards and methods

Take ownership of other financial activities and ad-hoc projects as they arise

Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes
What you bring
Experience and skills

+5 years of experience in a senior financial position (finance manager, controller etc.).

Solid understanding and experience from accounting, and reporting, customer billing, cash management, and financial operations

Strong understanding and prior experience of digitising and transforming financial processes

A hands-on pragmatic approach combined with strong strategic transformation ability

Analytical skills with the ability to communicate, lead and engage effectively

English and Danish proficiency

Experience from energy trading or financial institution sector
