Manager/Senior Manager for Advisory within Energy and AI

We are looking for a talented and ambitious manager, who is eager to join our team to drive our larger projects and mature our project organisation, helping us to shape the future of the organisation from a technical and commercial perspective, as we set ourselves up for rapid growth in the coming years.

 

Who are we?

Hybrid Greentech is a small but global leader within the PtX and battery technology space. As an advisory firm we assist our clients in investment decisions; from sizing to building business cases. As a unique feature we also help our clients realize profits by offering AI trading in VE flexibility hereby inspire organisations to invest in energy storage as a means to reach 100% renewable energy. With our sizing tool to and Virtual Power Plant for Energy Storage and Power to X we are making the green transition efficient and profitable. We and our customers are in an emerging renewable market that will face 30-fold growth over the coming years.

 

Founded in 2018, Hybrid Greentech develops and operates an AI-driven software ecosystem for sizing and real-time optimisation of energy storage, heat pumps and Power to X solutions in energy markets. We are a team of 17 people with strong domain knowledge in renewable energy, energy storage, machine learning and AI, who want to revolutionise energy storage, grid-scale battery systems, Power to X and heat pump flexibility in energy and power markets.

 

Can you accelerate growth of our Virtual Power Plant, Energy storage sizing and advisory?

Based in our Høje Taastrup office, you will join our team with mixed nationalities and seniorities. You will work closely with our software engineers and domain experts and drive our portfolio of commercial customer projects. Your responsibilities will include scoping, managing, planning and executing on activities and deliverables within the projects. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

 

More specifically, your areas of responsibility and tasks will be:

 

• Defines scope and present results at customers 

• Project scoping, scope management, quality, and work breakdown

• Manage and motivate team members from all functional areas

• Establish and facilitate collaboration with external development partners, from industry

• Drive the implementation of new methodologies from R&D projects and client needs found in commercial projects into our software platform

• Detailed planning and follow up: cost, timelines, deliverables, resources, and quality

• Project risk and cost management

• Reporting to clients

• Align with Hybrid Greentech management team to ensure maximal strategic value of the projects

• Contribute to the constant improvements on project models and practices

 

Depending on your interest and profile, you may also engage in commercial events, trade fairs, industrial networks, programs, etc. with the aim of increasing Hybrid Greentech’s visibility and brand and to generate more opportunity leads or value-adding partnerships.  

 

What we imagine that you will bring:

• You have previous experience from consulting

• You are results driven and able to motivate and inspire our clients and colleagues in a complex technical environment

• You are service minded and eager to learn

• You have a degree in within Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, IT or other relevant background. We are open to various backgrounds

• You have a solid project management toolbox and preferably a certification

• You have 5 - 10 years of experience as project manager or working for a consultancy

• You keep your stakeholders in mind and have strong interpersonal skills, developed through leading collaborative projects with several partners

• You are fluent in English and Danish, written and spoken

• You know how to work cross functionally with engineering, software development, subcontracting & finance, and understand the dynamics of a matrix organization with line and project responsibilities

• Knowledge  of the electric power sector, and an interest in the European power markets is desirable

• Experience with SaaS, cloud-based services, data sharing models, either from an expert or a project manager role is desirable

• A Danish, Scandinavian or EU based network in Utilities, TSO/DSO, IPPs, regulators, academic sector and other relevant stakeholders will be a plus

 

Terms

• Office location in Høje Taastrup with approximately 20 travelling days

• Salary package according to qualifications and results
